# Use packing slip to identify return packages faster

### Overview

A packing slip is a document used in return shipments. It shows key return information, so your team can quickly identify the returned package, process the items correctly.

It can also help speed up return processing when customers send back the wrong items, miss some items, or when your warehouse needs to verify what was actually returned.

### How to Set Up Packing Slip for Returns

**Step 1.** Go to **Return settings > Shipping and delivery > Packing slip** and enable the packing slip.

**Step 2.** Set up the conditions for generating the packing slip, then edit and fill in the other required information.

Customers can download packing slips and return labels from the returns portal and from emails.
